Deep Dive Full Stack • December 2017
I attended CNM in the evenings and weekends while working fulltime as the Regional Sales Manager for Overhead Door of Albuquerque. I maintained a GPA of 3.7.
After completing the core curriculum for a degree in computer science, I chose to attend the Deep Dive Coding Bootcamp. I learned the languages, tools and techniques I would be using as a software developer in the real world. I focused on a foundation in the JavaScript stack plus the latest technologies including React, HTML, CSS, Git, MySQL, PHP, and software architecture principles.
Biblical Studies • January 2013
I attended CFF Bible College and studied the fundamental concepts of Christian doctrine and theology, which included Apologetics, Christian Philosophy, Systematic Theology, Hermeneutics, Homiletics, and practical Christian Ministry.
As a result of this program, I was blessed to be able to grow in my spiritual formation and also to be thoroughly equipped for ministry.
Marketing • May 2000
As a marketing major, I studied the branding and promotion of products and services to the public, which is targeted through specific demographics.
Since marketing touches many areas of study, I am well-versed in advertising, communications, consumer behavior, public relations, and marketing strategy and research.
Owner/ Lead Developer • January 2018 - Present
Korigan Design, LLC is a sole proprietorship, so everything from the administrative to the technical are done by myself. I have worked with other entities on larger projects and have many clients across the US. My areas of expertise are in web design and development, but I also do photography and branding.
Junior Developer • September 2017 - December 2017
As a Junior Developer, I assisted the development team with all aspects of software design and coding. My primary role was to learn the codebase, attend design meetings, write basic code, fix bugs, and assist the Development Manager in all design-related tasks.
I worked with the development team to create web apps and developed a strong working knowledge of JavaScript and PHP. I became familiar with Angular and worked with both server and client-side frameworks. I also became fluent in both HTML and CSS.
Regional Sales Manager • July 2013 - September 2017
As the Regional Sales Manager, I covered the greater New Mexico area. I diagnosed and recommended repair or replacement of residential garage doors, entry doors, sliding glass doors, and patio doors, selling system upgrades and equipment.
I maintained an exceptional working knowledge of residential and commercial applications and brands. I also kept and maintained company vehicle.
Next Step Team Leader/Facilitator • May 2015 - October 2020
The Next Step class is a four week class held monthly that teaches about the church, growing as a Christian, finding a place in a ministry and becoming involved at Legacy Church.
I joined the Next Step team after attending Legacy regularly for a year. My first role was to run the soundboard and media for the class. After being in that position for over a year, I was asked to facilitate the class. In that role, I taught new members of the church about the core beliefs of Legacy Church as well as the different ministry opportunities. We administered the DISC assessment as well as a Spiritual Gifts survey.
After facilitating for a couple of years, my wife and I took over the role of handling the entire team, which consisted of scheduling and placement of the volunteers for the class, training the new volunteers in the various positions associated with the Next Step team, and coordinating with the other ministry teams to ensure the success of the class graduates in their various ministry roles throughout the church.
Apologetics Class Facilitator • August 2020 - October 2020
After putting together an easy-to-understand curriculum to teach introductory apologetics, I was able to begin a class where I taught the concepts and methodology of Christian Apologetics. We covered different materials including philosophic and scientific arguments for the existence of God, the Creation vs. Evolution debate, as well as the issue on the existence of evil/pain and suffering.
Shortly after starting the class, I moved out of state. I entrusted the class to one of the students and gave him all the materials to facilitate the class effectively. It grew after I left, and is still going today.
Joshua's Men Group Leader • January 2017 - October 2020
This Discipleship group was designed to facilitate deeper relationships and build character with the leadership of the church. The group was available by invite-only for the men of the church that showed leadership.
After participating in the group as a member, I enjoyed the format so much that I wanted to remain a part of it. I helped to facilitate a group of men through the year-long program, where we read through eleven character building, leadership, and spiritual growth books, shared in fellowship, and developed lasting friendships. There are several men I am still honored to call my friends today.
Associate Pastor • March 2012 - November 2014
Another student from Bible college and I started a bible study that quickly outgrew the home study atmosphere. We moved to a building that housed our meeting in February of 2012. Shortly after that, the host facility transferred the lease of the building to us and CCF Heights was born.
I wrote and filed all the documents required for a non-profit organization with the county, state, and federal governments. We formed a Board of Directors, of which I was the Treasurer. We remodeled the facility to have a children's classroom and a media booth. We held worship services and taught the Word of God weekly. The church thrived and we saw many come to Christ!
My responsibilities included running the media and soundboard, coordinating worship, managing the finances and payroll, and occasionally preaching. I started an apologetics ministry which led to several opportunities to share the Gospel.
Various Experience • November 2005 - Present
Apart from the roles I held in the preceding ministry positions, I participated in several other ministry-related opportunities.
I have been on two mission trips to Mexico; The first trip was to build a house for a family there and the second was to help at an orphanage. I have led several small group Bible studies and participated in even more! I have a passion for Creation Science from the biblical perspective and enjoy teaching and talking about that when the opportunity presents itself. I have passed out food and clothing to the homeless, done several community outreaches, visited prisons and jails to share the Gospel and teach the Word of God, and served in awesome programs like Night to Shine.
I create interactive user experiences on desktop and mobile platforms. I am passionate about the latest coding languages, and can work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. I have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
